While I have many hobbies, my favorite is art.
I can doodle anywhere, anytime, with any pen or pencil. Art helps me become aware of my surroundings, shadows, color and activity around me.
Sharing my interest in that moment and helping others see the shadow or an interesting reflection is fun for me.
As I make notes and sketches in my journal, I pay closer attention to record lighting, color, sounds, fragrance and activity around me.
When I open that journal it always brings me back to the place and time.
It is relaxing and challenging to learn new approaches to painting style.
